This issue of Scholarly Research and Communication is the second in a series devoted to descriptions of some of Canada’s outstanding journals, in this case, education journals. As with the first issue on historical journals (Volume 9, Number 1, 2018), it is by no means a complete record. We hope to do more.
Scholarly Research and Communication is pleased to note, via our altmetrics monitoring, that substantial use is already being made of the articles from our issue on Canada’s history journals. This provides us with further encouragement to seek out other groups of discipline-connected journals in order to publish future issues that continue to build a public record of the nature of Canadian scholarly journals in our time and to create a resource for researchers.
